Sampalok Lake Staircase (Hagdang Bato)

Sampalok Lake Staircase (Hagdang Bato) is located in Trece Martines Street, San Pablo City, Laguna, Philippines.

 

A concrete stairway leads to Sampalok Lake, now a famous local landmark and even part of the official seal of San Pablo City. It was constructed in November 1915 on a lot which is now a part of the Doña Leonila Mini-Forest Park.

 

The staircase is divided into five sections with a total of 89 steps.
