Bagac is mainly a rich farming and aquatic area. It has pristine white sand beaches, lush rainforest, magnificent caves, spellbinding waterfalls, and rugged mountain terrain.

Fearless nature lovers can see the sights of the breathtaking coral gardens as well as the commemorative WWII Japanese shrines on battle sites. Also, there are several fairly priced inland and coastal resorts that can accommodate vacationers.

One of the places of interest in Bagac is the Bagac Friendship Tower. It is a 27-meter high tower consisting of three pillars connected to each other by rings and located in the municipality proper area. A Japanese Buddhist organization, Rissho Kosei Kai, built the tower as a sign of friendship between Japan and the Philippines after the events of World War II. The tower was inaugurated on April 8, 1975.
