One of the Provincial Government’s most salient contributions to provincial infrastructure development in Negros Oriental is the Congressman Lamberto L Macias Sports and Cultural Center (CLLMSCC), built right at the capitol area in Dumaguete City.
The CLLMSCC is the first and the biggest roofed sports stadium in Negros Oriental . It has a seating capacity of up to 5,000. With this, some basketball games of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), and national, regional, and provincial volleyball games had been held here. Too often, it is used to stage socio-cultural activities, graduation ceremonies, conventions, religous gathering, among others.
