Mt. Iriga

Mt. Iriga is located in Iriga, Camarines Sur, Philippines.

Rising some 4,823 feet above the sea level, Mt. Iriga is a challenging climb and offers a panoramic view of the entire Bicol River basin area. A crater and gully was formed during the mountain's last recorded eruption on January 4, 1614. The crater drops to some 500 feet deep from the summit. It's cold surrounding makes it a fitting habitat for wild berries and a local species of pine called agoho, which abundantly grows in the area.
