For many years, many people believed that Odiong's Eva Cave was small and narrow, however, after high magnitude of earthquakes, the cave's depth and width increased.
In the cave's vicinity are wild orchids and tree ferns. Birds of different species that build edible nests abound in the area. The tropical plants and the birds' nest are collected by the locals which are then sold in the town's market. These natural resources help much in the locals' economy.
