The President Carlos P. Garcia Memorial Park was erect in the memory of the late President Carlos P. Garcia, the 4th president of the Republic of the Philippines.

The memorial park was a project of the Boholanos from all over the country and abroad.

The park sits on a 11 hectare land chosen by the president himself when he was still alive.

On the park is a life-sized statue of the late president erected in a marble base. The statue was done Napoleon Abueva, a national artist, the same person who made the blood compact sculpture.
