Lingayen

It is a 1st class municipality in the province of Pangasinan on the island of Luzon in the Philippines.
It is the capital municipality and seat of government of the province of Pangasinan. According to the latest census, it has a population of 95,773 people in 16,467 households.
 
Lingayen was one of strategic points during World War II. Lingayen's long beach served as runway for several attack planes. It is also the birth place of President Fidel V. Ramos. Lingayen is also considered as the "most romantic place in the Philippines".
