Guang Guang Marine and Research Center, sometimes referred to as Guang Guang Mangrove Park, is a natural reserve protected by the Department of Enviromnent and Narutal Resources (DENR). The reserve occupies a land area of 21,000 hectares and is mostly covered by different varieties of mangrove trees. It also serves as a nesting sanctuary for sea turtles locally known as pawikan.
