Manduyog Hill - Aklan Attractions

Manduyog Hill

Manduyog Hill is where the an annual pilgrimage of Manduyog is conducted on Good Fridays(Catholic Holy Week) visiting the 14 Stations of the Cross  praying the rosary and placing candles at each stop while climbing towards the peak where a large(approx. 40m) and sometimes lighted Cross is located and is visible from due north to Kalibo and the sea beyond.

The hill is named after the A valiant datu that ruled Aklan. The hill then served as a watch tower to warn the natives against invading Moro pirates.
