Pangasinan

Guiguinto
Old Train Station is located in Guiguinto, Bulacan, Philippines.  Historical, Heritage Built in 1661, the Estacion de Guiguinto (Guiguinto Train Station) is the towns most acclaimed historical landmark and heritage site. It was upon this site that the Katipuneros (Filipino guerillas during the Spanish Regime) ambushed a train from Dagupan, killing six friars, including the parish friar of Guiguinto, Fr. Leocadio Sanchez, and a Spanish doctor. The incident inspired Severino Reyes to author the novel “Opera Walang Sugat” which was later made into a movie entitled “Walang Sugat.” Source:Bulacan.gov.ph

San Jose de Buenavista

Roxas City
Olotayan is an island in Roxas City which is a good place for swimming and snorkelling. Sailing, jet-skiing/flat boat riding, wind surfing, skim boarding, fishing and also seaweed harvesting are also popular activities when in the island.   Legend says that a wicked giant lived in the land and has always brought havoc and sufferings to the inhabitants who turned to the “anitos” or “anitas” (gods or goddess) for help.  Their pleas were heard and a strong lightning hit the wicked giant which scattered his body to the sea.  The islands of Roxas City where then named after the body parts of the giant.  Thus, his head and stomach (olo and tyan)became the island of Olotayan.  Other islands like “Mantalinga” came from the mata (eyes) and talinga (ears), tuwad (Buttocks) and sepatos (feet).  Summer is the best time to visit the island since seasonal conditions affect the beach. Strong currents and shore breaks could make the traveld to the island difficult and dangerous.  Boat trip to Olotayan Island is accessible at Brgy. Roxas City
The Olutayan Island is located in Roxas City, Capiz, Philippines. A picture of bliss and beauty awaits visitors when they stop by Olutayan Island. This island is just 30 minutes from Banica Terminal, and its teeming with various exotic fishes and the clearest waters. Dasmarinas
The Orchard Golf and Country Club opened for play in January 1995 with two Championship layouts designed by golfing legends Arnold Palmer and Gary Player. Both courses are situated in what was formerly a Mango orchard planted some sixty five years ago by Dean Conrado Benitez Sr. Self designated as a bird and wildlife sanctuary, the courses abound with indigenous flora and fauna.

Buenavista
Visit the largest mango plantation in Brgy. Piña, Buenavista, Guimaras, the Oro Verde Mango Plantation!  Guimaras is highly regarded as a producer of one of the tastiest mangoes in the world. Oro Verde Mango Plantation is perhaps the biggest in the country. The plantation has 18,000 grafted mango trees. Aside from producing export quality fresh mangoes, Oro Verde maintains a nursery of mango seedlings for commercial purposes.  Also, a mini-processing plant absorbs locally sourced mangoes and converts them into commercial products such as mango puree, dried mango fruit bar and mango pickles. Ream more about Oro Verde Mango Plant.

Davao City
Osmena Park is located in front of San Pedro Church and is beside the City Hall. The park has benches and statues of animals. It is also the home of the Davao Chess Club. Recently, a strip of tribal houses have been added to the park during the celebration of Kadayawan last August 2008. How to get to Osmena Park Osmeña Park is located between Magallanes and San Pedro Street. Be aware of the traffic rules in the area as some roads have a one-way rule. When driving in Claro M. Recto Street, the direction of traffic starts from the San Pedro Church towards Aldevinco. The direction of traffic in Magallanes Street starts from Metro Bank towards the direction of Grand Men Seng.  

Dalaguete
Osmeña Peak is the highest peak in Cebu Province. It stands around 1000 meters above sea level. The peak is unique because of its overlooking jagged mountain range. It is similarly formed to the Chocolate Hills but appears sharper and more pointy. How to get to Osmena PeakOsmeña Peak is located in Barangay Mantalungon, Dalaguete. Mantalungon is regarded as the highest town in Cebu. Its elevation is such that locals are usually spotted wearing jackets despite the country's tropical climate. To reach Mantalungon, one can ride a mini-bus at Cebu City's Colon Market. San Leonardo
Take time off and have a face to face encounter with the second fastest running animal, the ostrich---definitely not in Africa, but in Bago City. This is the first and the only Ostrich Farm in the entire Negros Island.  Try feeding the ostrich yourself when in the farm. At present, there are six ostrich being raised in the farm, two of which are males and the rest females.
