Cuenca is part of the municipalities that comprises Batangas. A town with over 28,000 people.

Cuenca is once a part of San Jose, yet in 1876 it became an independent town under the name of "Cuenca." Mt. Maculot is Cuenca's famous tourist attraction.

The Patron of Cuenca is Saint Isidore the Laborer, the patron of farmers celebrates his feast day during 15th of May.
