Dinalupihan is part of the municipalities that comprises Bataan. It is a first class municipality with over 92,000 people. It is the only land-locked municipality of the province.

Dinalupihan is predominantly an agricultural town. Its main resources are rice, sugar cane, corn, root crops, legumes and fruits including farm animals and poultry.

Emerging as one of the potential investment havens in the region, Dinalupihan is primarily suitable for agro-industrial inverstments due to its strategic location and rich agricultural produce.
