Manolo Fortich is a 1st class municipality in Bukidnon. According to the 2000 census, Manolo Fortich has a population of 74,252 people living in 13,950 hosueholds.
The municipality is named after Don Manolo Fortich. He was a resident of Barrio Dalirig, one of the barangays in the municipality. Don Manolo was the first governor of the District of Bukidnon.
