Island Garden City of Samal
The vanishing island is a parcel of land visible only during a low tide - although, during the high tide it is possible to walk on the island with the water reaching only the ankles. It is a few minutes from the shores of Samal Island.  It is noticeable from a distance because of the presence of what seems to be houses floating directly on the surface of the ocean. These houses are intended for those who want to stay longer. However, use of these houses depend on the caretakers who also happen to be locals. Recently, the local government made the vanishing island a protected marine reserve. Mangrove trees have been planted within the vicinity to further support marine life. HOW TO GET THERE The vanishing island is located a few minutes away from the shores of Tambo, Babak, Island Garden City of Samal. Samal Island is accessible by seatrip from Sasa, Davao City. Upon arriving in the island, motorcycle transport is readily available. Prompt the motorcycle driver to take you to the vanishing island at Barangay Tambo. From Tambo, ride a small boat to the vanishing island.  

Virac

Malinao
The Municipality of Malinao in the northern part of Albay is home to the spectacular Vera Water Falls, a highly recommended eco-tourism site in Albay. Found at the bottom of a ravine in Barangay Bulang, the main water fall drops approximately 25 meters into a clarion blue lagoon (approx. 2m deep). More water flows through narrow caverns within the earth and escapes out of the surrounding rock formations and into the pool, creating an awesome ambiance and a sense of hidden paradise. A visit to Vera Falls is truly a feast for the soul.   How to get to Vera FallsVera Falls is located approximately 40km (25mi) from Legazpi City, on a 90-minute drive. Most of the driving is on well-paved highway, however, the last 5km are on unpaved, rough road. 4x4 is vehicle is recommended, although not necessary for skilled drivers. Pandan

Atimonan
Veteran's Park is located at Brgy. Zone III – Poblacion, Rizal Street, Atimonan, Quezon, Philippines.  A park located at the gateway of the Poblacion, built in memory of the brave Atimonanin soldiers who fought during Japanese time.  Source:Atimonan.gov.ph

Ormoc City
The Veteran's Park was constructed in early 1990's in honor of the Filipino soldiers who fought for the liberation of Leyte and the Philippines.  The Centennial Marker was erected in 1998 to commemorate the 100th year independence of the Philippines. One gets a good view of the bay, the port and the plaza from this vantage point.  It is a favorite rendevouz for the young and old alike for picnic, leisurely stroll on its verdant lawn while one experience the refreshing air from the sea and witness the magnificent beauty of the setting sun.  Source:City Government of Ormoc Website  

Cagayan de Oro City
The park is named after a Provincial Governor. It is a favorite jogging place during the morning. At evening, it becomes a hangout place.
