Cogon Eco-Park is a reforestation area established in 1958 located in Barangay Cogon. It is home to different species of trees and wild animals. The place is a favorite camping site of mountaineers in Dipolog. Cogon Eco-Park is one of the venues of an annual event dubbed as Katkat sa Dipolog held during the summer season.
Still part of the eco-park's complex is Barangay Diwan which houses the OISCA Children’s Forest Park, a 64-hectare wild sanctuary, and the Sungkilaw Falls.
How to get to Cogon Eco-Park
Cogon Eco-Park is located in Barangay Cogon and is 25 kilometers away from the Dipolog City area. If you intend to visit the OISCA Forest Park or the Sungkilaw Falls, you can proceed to Barangay Diwan. Barangay Diwan is adjacent to Barangay Cogon.
