Gerthel Beach which is located in the town of Lobo is one of the finest beaches of the area. The approximately one kilometer stretch of white sand beach has a gradually sloping ocean floor of up to about two hundred meters before the drop-off.  How to get there The beach can be reached by taking a jeepney towards Lobo. Taklobos/Giant Clams is located in Alaminos, Pangasinan, Philippines.  The Giant Clams or locally known Taklobos is regarded as the world’s largest bivalve mollusks which extends over a meter and can weigh over 225 kg. The massive size is a magnificent attraction to visiting tourists who dive or snorkel in the area. Gigantes or Giant Islands, which are the two largest among a group of islets near Boracay. These are the only ones inhabited.  Gigantes North Island has a 1-kilometer stretch of pure white sand in a cove on the south part of the islet. At the center of the islet are two incredibly large caves where you can go spelunking.
