Libungan

Libungan is a fourth-class municipality in Cotabato Province.
With a total land area of only 17,250 hectares, the town one of the smallest in the province. However, Libungan compensates its lack of size with its rich agricultural resources. It is a major producer of rice, corn, mango, banana, and coconut.
 
According to the 2000 national census, Libungan is home to 40,589 people in 7,910 households. Its residents speak four major dialects such as Cebuano, Hiligaynon, Ilocano,  and Manobo.
