Hagimit Falls is actually a cascade of smaller waterfalls. The water is so clear that it appears aqua in color and so cold that it feels like bathing inside the fridge. Trees surround the river's channels thus giving a relaxing scenario to tourists.

HOW TO GET THERE

Hagimit Falls is a few minutes from Peñaplata, Island Garden City of Samal. Samal Island is accessible by seatrip from Sasa, Davao City. Upon arriving in the island, motorcycle transport is readily available. In fact, upon the arrival of tourists, some motorcycle drivers ask if they have ever visited Hagimit Falls.

Take note that, before reaching the place, there is a checkpoint that charges a 5 peso entrance fee.
