Its exhibit shows the archaeological, ethnological collections, such as jars and porcelain, hunting and trapping tools used by the early ancestors, musical instruments, brass ware, and some artifacts from the Tabon Caves and antique diggings from Cuyo during the Spanish Era. The museum is also provided with a library where books on Philippine and Palawan history, anthropology, archeology, entomology, literature, and flora and fauna can be found. It includes unique exhibits such as displays of ancient musical instruments used by original settlers in the area. The Puerto Princesa National Museum features exhibits on art, music, history and local culture. Many of the displays focus on findings related to the prehistoric civilization based at Tabon Cave, and visitors can view ancient pottery, hunting implements and musical instruments. There are also collections related to the Spanish colonial period, with several antique pieces collected from the area around Fort Cuyo. An onsite library holds several volumes of books related specifically to local history and ethnographic findings. The museum is located in downtown Puerto Princesa near the Old City Hall. This museum showcases the history, culture, music, arts and crafts of Palawan. On exhibit are archaeological, geological, ethnological collections, such as jars and porcelain, hunting and trapping tools used by ancestral man, musical instruments and brass ware, some artifacts from the Tabon Caves,as well as antiques and Spanish era artifacts found near Cuyo. Books on Philippine history, anthropology, archeology, entomology, literature, and flora and fauna are also found. Museum hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 nn, and 2:00 p.m. to 5: p.m., Monday to Friday except Wednesday. A minimal fee to get in the museum is charged. Casiguran
Palogtok Falls is located in Casiguran, Sorsogon, Philippines. It is a pleasant, leisurely 20-minute walk through rolling hills carpeted with green grass, under a canopy of tall coconut trees, as one steps off the Bulusan road down to the place. At the site, one finds a man-made earthen swimming pool where the gurgling water flows from just a few feet up the hillside. Dingalan
Paltic, Dingalan The nursery is used to raise hardwood for replanting logged areas. Trees such as narra, kamagong, mahogany, kapok, yantoc and others are planted in small plastic bags and lined up underneath larger trees that provide shade and moisture to the young trees. Not far from this nursery is a stream that leads to two falls, one about 15 feet high and the other about 20 feet high. The falls, approximately 50 meters apart, form pools that are perfect for swimming or relaxing after a poolside picnic. Bulusan
Palugtok Falls is located in San Roque, Bulusan, Sorsogon, Philippines. The falls is a sight to see as it is surrounded by the refreshing green of a meadow planted with carabao grasses and low coconut palms. The falls itself has its own pool, hewn out of natural rock. Palawan
Pamalican is a small island of the Cuyo island group in the Sulu Sea, between Palawan and Panay, in the north part of the Palawan province of the Philippines. The island is set in the middle of a 7 square-kilometer coral reef. It has a length of 2.5 kilometers, and measures only 500 meters at its widest point. The island was originally exploited as a struggling family-owned plantation. It was then purchased by Andres Soriano Jr., a successful businessman. His children then decided to build a resort on the island and leased the management responsibility to establish an exclusive resort.
