Pamulogan is the oldest center of pilgrimage activity in Central Iloilo. The first cross was planted by the Spaniards in the hill way back in 1732. the cross of Pamulogan stand six meters from the ground and is made from molave. Locals believe that the Babaylans or ancient priests scratched the surface of the wooden cross and used it for healing. Pilgrims from neighboring towns congest the town of Cabatuan to pay homage to this religious shrine every Lenten season. The journey to Pamulogan Hill follows the stations of Jesus' sufferings in Mt. Pan-An Falls is located in Brgy. Pilar, Oquendo District, one hour drive from Calbayog City proper; plus 1-hour walk onwards from the village. Bacolod City
The Panaad Stadium i Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City is a multi-use stadium. It is currently used mostly for football matches, and was used for the 2005 South East Asian Games. It was the venue of the pre-qualifiers of the 2007 ASEAN Football Championship or ASEAN Cup, in which the Philippines, Cambodia, Timor Leste, Brunei and Laos participated. The stadium has a seating capacity of 15,500, but holds around 20,000 people with standing areas. It is unofficially designated as the home stadium of the Philippines national football team. Moalboal
3 kilometers away from Moalboal is Pinagsama Beach, Cebu's main diving spot. Panagsama was starting to become a destination for backpackers in the 70’s. The development of the beach was set back when a strong typhoon in 1984 took out most of the sand in the beach. Worst, the storm also damaged the famous house reef and some shallow areas of Pescador. The reef recovered, however, much of the sand of the beach never fully replenished. In front of Panagsama Beach is a shallow reef, at lowest tide you can walk to the drop off reef which is 50 meters from the high tide line. February 27 | Jagna The Pandayan Festival celebrates the parochial anniversary of St. Joseph the Worker. “Panday” in the local dialect means “carpenter” and “pandayan” refers to the place where the carpentry work is done. It was called the “Pandayan Festival” in honor of St. Joseph who was himself a carpenter. The catholic faithful believed that St. Joseph taught the child Jesus carpentry skills in his own “pandayan” in Nazareth.
