Dingalan
Barangay Tanawan, Dingalan "Tanawan," as the place is called, means "viewsite." Upon approaching the border of Dingalan and Nueva Ecija, one passes through an area sloping upwards. At its peak is Dingalan Bay View Site. Undeveloped, except for a solitary nipa hut and several electric poles, the area provides fantastic view of the town and the blue bay, as well as the green mountains and the igneous rock formations. Dingalan Bay is a total contrast from the hot, dry and brown environment of Nueva Ecija. One would be amazed by the almost sudden emergence of greenery that overlooks Dingalan upon reaching the Bay View Site. Dingalan Bay View Site is a perfect place for photography and picnicking.   How to get there From Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija, take a bus bound for Tanawan( two hours and 10 minutes travel time).  Source:Discover Aurora Philippines

Panglao
Doljo Beach is another undiscovered jewel in the island of Panglao. Like most of Panglao's beaches, Doljo Beach has crystal clear blue water, powder-fine white sand, and uncrowded shores. Much of Doljo Beach is still undeveloped which is a good thing in preserving the beaches beauty. Coconut trees line the beach, and some of the locals make a living by renting out chairs and small cottages for those who fancy picnics at the beach. The beach is known for its unique seashells which are strewn on its shoreline.  Attractive diving spots can also be found on Doljo beach. Some of the most popular spots are the House Reef and the Point diving site. The spots are teeming with a variety of corals and colorful tropical fishes.  Doljo Beach is located in Barangay Doljo, Panglao, Island.  Source:ArticlesBase

Bais City
Dolphin and Whale Watching in Bais City is fast becoming a national attraction. It has gained popularity among travelers both local and foreign because of its appealing combination of activities.  The adventure starts with a cruise along Bais Bay then out to Tañon Strait, the natural habitat of several whale and dolphin species. Among the kinds of dolphins you may encounter during the trip are pantropical spotted dolphins, bottlenose dolphins and long snouted spinner dolphins.  After some dolphin and whale watching tourists usually take a stop at Manjuyod White Sand Bar where the boat temporarily docks. Manjuyod is ideal for swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling and scuba diving in the nearby reefs.

Go watch whales and dolphins in the Bohol Sea with the locals of Pamilacan.  Ex-whale-hunting boats called canter have been refitted specifically for a safe and comfortable trip. The boats, measuring 15 to 20 meters in length, can accommodate up to seven passengers. Each of these crafts is furnished with seats and roofing, and equipped with life vests.  You will be accompanied by skilled spotters whose familiarity with the area also makes them excellent guides.  The best season is the months from March to June, but resident dolphins and small whales can be found all year round. Tours are dependent on weather and sea conditions.  The Pamilacan Island Dolphin and Whale Watching Tours was primarily established to market the dolphin and whale watching as a new eco-tourism product of the province of Bohol and the Philippines.   The tours provide a viable alternative livelihood to the families affected by the government banned on the hunting and trade of dolphins, whales and recently the ban on whale sharks and manta rays.  Source:Pamilacan Island

Iloilo
Among the many splendid mansions of Old Jaro, Iloilo, there is only one grand residence that enduringly captures the full essence, and the length and breadth of the wealth and splendor of the legendary Iloilo Sugar Fortunes at their Height in the 1920s to the 30s: The “Nelly Gardens.”   The imposing, Beaux-Arts style ”Nelly Gardens” mansion was built in 1928 by Don Vicente Lopez y Villanueva [ 1879 - 1963 ] and his wife Dona Elena Hofilena y Javelona. It was named for their eldest daughter Nelly. Their first residence was along Calle Iznart, Jaro’s main thoroughfare, but Dona Elena found the street noisy and bothersome, and since she liked flowers, plants, and gardening, Don Vicente decided to build their new residence on four hectares in [ what was then ] the outskirts of Old Jaro. The residence began as a simple two-storey affair that was continually enlarged and embellished as the family grew, as their fortunes multiplied, and as their social obligations increased. Read more about Nelly Gardens. You may want to check out more old houses in Jaro.

Jaro
Located at the flip side of Jaro Plaza, Rizal street, the house was a private residence building of the late Doña Agatona Argulles Jalandoni and presently owned by Mr. Carlos Jalandoni.  It was built on January 10, 1927 with a certain Cacho as engineer/ contactor. However, the house was so big for the family; thus, Doña Agatona allowed the first floor to be rented by a Chinese businessman and the latter used it for commercial purposes.  The house has also played a vital role in history since it was used as a Japanese headquarter in 1945. As an effect of war, the house was partially damaged as it was hit by a bomb on February 22, 1945.  The taste of Eclectic Renaissance was applied in the reinforced concrete house. Such designs were emphasized in their pilasters, arches of the arcade, balustrade corbel balconies, multi-colored window gazing and ornate parapet of the three- sided façade. Source:Sun Star Iloilo
