El Nido
Helicopter island is located in El Nido, Palawan, Philippines. The beach on Dilumacad Island or Helicopter island is an area for snorkeling, swimming and picnic lunches during island-hopping trips. For divers, there is an underwater tunnel at the northern side of the island and a fringing reef on the southern side. Helicopter island houses a beautiful beach that is ideal for snorkeling and swimming. If you’re to let your kids swim, make sure they are watched as the water abruptly deepens. The Heritage of Cebu Monument is located in the original Plaza Parian, Colon Street, Cebu City. Commisioned by the Archdiocese of Cebu, the Heritage of the Cebu Monument is a tableau created by renowned national artist Edgardo Castrillo. It showcases the significant and symbolic events in the history of Cebu from the time of Rajah Humabon to the recent beatification of Cebuano martyr Pedro Calungsod. The construction began on July 1997 and it was inaugurated on Dec. 8, 2000. Guimaras
Higante Cave is located in Espinosa, Jordan, Guimaras. It literally means a giant cave. According to legend this cave was used by a giant hence, it was called higante cave. The interior of the cave is full of stalagmites and stalactites that formed an intriguing shape. People who visit this place usually leave a coin and make a wish. The cave has 3 entrances: 3×4 ft. wide, 2×3 ft. wide, and 2×3 meters wide. It is 200 meters long more or less and could be found on top of a hill. Source:guimaras.gov.ph
Cagayan de Oro City
High Ridge is located on a hilltop in Aluba, Cagayan de Oro City. It give the best view of Cagayan de Oro. It is open from 4pm to 10pm. The area used to be a commercial establishment but was forced to shut down. Eventually, the place was opened again to the public for outdoor picnics. How to get to High Ridge Public transport is not available within the vicinity of High Ridge. You need to acquire private transport or at least hire a taxi to get you to the area. If going to High Ridge via a taxi, it is best to ask the taxi driver to pick you up again when you are prepared to leave. High Ridge charges a 20-peso entrance fee. Source:cdoguide
Sorsogon
A respite from a long journey, the Highway Rest Area in Barangay Bucal-Bucalan, affords the weary traveler a refreshing view of Sorsogon Bay, with Mt. Bulusan looming in the distance. The rest area itself offers a landscaped mini-park, with restrooms complete with a view deck. A few meters away from the Highway Rest Area are native stalls selling fresh blue crabs, seashells, and other seafood. Sorsogon Bay is known for its luscious blue crabs. Very soon, Bayside restaurants and open-air cafes will be set up in the area where the visitor can have his pick of blue crabs and other seafood and have them cooked straight from the Bay.
