The Heritage of Cebu Monument is located in the original Plaza Parian, Colon Street, Cebu City.
Commisioned by the Archdiocese of Cebu, the Heritage of the Cebu Monument is a tableau created by renowned national artist Edgardo Castrillo. It showcases the significant and symbolic events in the history of Cebu from the time of Rajah Humabon to the recent beatification of Cebuano martyr Pedro Calungsod. The construction began on July 1997 and it was inaugurated on Dec. 8, 2000.
Surrounding the monument are other renowned attractions namely the Yap-Sandiego House and the Jesuit House of 1730 and Casa Gorordo.
