Pinagbanderahan Shrine

Pinagbanderahan Shrine is located at the peak of a monument built in 1938, under the Commonwealth Government in Brgy. Malinao Ilaya, Atimonan, Quezon, Philippines.

 

This is called “Pinagbanderahan” (meaning: used as a flagpole) for its historical role during World War II Located at the heart of Quezon National Park, can be accessed by a concrete path and stairs, it is a favorable hiding place of adventure and nature lovers. Trekking –up in the heights of this peak, one can feel the serenity of nature and hear the trickling sounds of humming birds, crickets, frogs and insects all joined together in a musical symphony of nature.
