The Tangyan Festival of Igbaras is a celebration dedicated to the Tangyan River of Igbaras, considered as the beginning of civilization in Igbaras. The river has been crucial to the livelihood and economic development of the community. The celebration recognizes the river's role in the lives of the people in Igbaras.
The preservation, protection, and sharing of cultural heritage is also upheld in this celebration. The festivity hosts special events including Agro Industrial Fair, Drum Beat Competition, and Pageants among others. People from remote barangays also partake in the celebration by selling food, crafts, and other merchandise.
